It turns out, if you put enough slices in solid materials, you can make them bend and flex, it’s called a living hinge! Now you can experience this neat bit of science and design with your own book box! Laser cut from 1/8″ pine plywood, the large book box has a sliding lock to keep the cover securely closed.
